ABOARD
The S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien is a fully operational, historically accurate, WWII museum ship and the last unaltered Liberty Ship. She is a veteran of D-Day Operation Overlord and serves as a memorial to the civilian volunteers of the U.S. Merchant Marine and Naval Armed Guard crews who bravely sailed across all oceans and into all theatres of war to deliver goods to the Allied forces. She also honors the men and women who built the largest, single-class of ships in history. The National Trust and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers recognize the ship as a Historical Monument.
