The S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien is a fully operational, historically accurate, WWII Liberty Ship. A veteran of D-Day Operation Overlord at Normandy, she serves as a memorial to the civilian volunteers of the U.S. Merchant Marine and Naval Armed Guard crews who bravely sailed into all theaters of war and across all oceans to supply the Allied forces. She also honors the men and women who built the largest, single-class of ships in history and is recognized by both the National Trust and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as a Historical Monument.
